    IT strategy and cloud

Make technology decisions you can stand behind

Independent advice on where your IT should go next, what it should cost and what to move to the cloud. We look at Microsoft 365 and the rest of your systems, then give you a plan your leadership team can act on.

    Where IT plans go wrong

    Spending without a plan

Renewals, licences and new tools get bought one at a time, and nobody can say what the total buys you.

Advice that comes with a sales target

The people recommending a product are often the ones selling it, so it's hard to know what you actually need.

Systems that have stopped keeping up

Old servers, workarounds and tools that don't talk to each other slow people down and add risk.

    What we cover

Where should our IT be in two or three years?

We start with the business: where it's heading, what's holding people back and what has to stay running. Then we turn that into a roadmap with costs and timings, so IT decisions follow a plan rather than the next renewal.

    • A multi-year IT roadmap, in order of priority
    • Budgets you can plan around, including renewals and replacements
    • Risks and quick wins called out separately
    • Regular check-ins to keep the roadmap current, if you want them

Are we getting value from what we already pay for?

Most businesses pay for more than they use. We review your Microsoft 365 licences, other software and infrastructure, and show where you're overpaying, underusing or exposed.

    • Microsoft 365 licence review: the right plans for the right people
    • Features you already pay for but haven't switched on
    • Overlapping tools and subscriptions that could be retired
    • An assessment of servers, network and backups against what the business needs

Which supplier or product should we choose?

We have no vendor sales targets, so we can compare options on their merits and read the contract with you before you sign.

    • Requirements written down before anyone pitches
    • Side-by-side comparison of suppliers and products
    • Contract and renewal terms checked for lock-in and hidden costs
    • Support through selection and handover

Should we move to the cloud, and how?

Not everything belongs in the cloud. We work out what should move, in what order, and what has to be ready first, so the move doesn't disrupt day-to-day work.

    • A readiness check of your current systems, data and connections
    • File servers to SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams, planned around how people work
    • On-premises sign-in moved to Microsoft Entra ID, where it makes sense
    • A migration plan with stages, owners and a way back if something goes wrong

    How we work

    1. Step 1: Understand the business

We talk to the people who run it and use it, and review your systems, contracts and costs.

    2. Step 2: Set the direction

You get a roadmap in plain English, with priorities, costs and the reasoning behind each recommendation.

    3. Step 3: Help it happen

We support suppliers, your IT provider and your team as the plan is delivered, and revisit it as things change.

    What you walk away with

    • A clear picture of where your IT stands today
    • A prioritised roadmap with budgets and timings
    • Independent recommendations on licences, suppliers and products
    • A cloud plan you can follow, if moving makes sense

    What we won't do

    • Recommend a product because we earn from selling it
    • Push you to the cloud when it isn't right for you
    • Change anything without your agreement
