Email security
Stop the emails that put your business at risk
Phishing, taken-over mailboxes and fake messages that pretend to be you. We close those gaps in your email platform and on your domain, without disrupting the email you need to send.
Where email goes wrong
A convincing fake lands in the inbox
A link, an attachment or a request that looks real. One click is enough.
Someone is already inside a mailbox
A stolen password lets them read mail, set up hidden forwarding or send invoices from a real account.
Email goes out under your name
Customers, suppliers or staff get a message that looks like it came from you, and it didn't.
What we cover
Are phishing and malware being stopped?
Most email platforms include protection, but it often isn't switched on fully or tuned to your business. In Microsoft 365 we set up and review Microsoft Defender for Office 365. In Google Workspace we configure the equivalent Gmail protections.
- Phishing and impersonation protection for your people and suppliers
- Links checked when they're clicked, not just when the email arrives (Safe Links)
- Attachments opened safely before delivery (Safe Attachments)
- Spam and malware filtering set to the right strength
- A clear process for held messages, so nothing important is lost
- Alerts for suspicious activity, and an easy way for staff to report phishing
Can someone take over a mailbox?
We tighten how people sign in and what their accounts are allowed to do.
- Multi-factor sign-in for every account (MFA), with older sign-in methods blocked
- Sign-in rules based on user, device and location (conditional access), where your licences allow
- Checks for automatic forwarding to outside addresses, and blocks on it unless it's needed
- A review of which apps and people can access mailboxes
Can someone send email as you?
We lock down your domain so only approved services can send as your business.
- Approved senders listed (SPF) and outgoing email signed (DKIM)
- A policy that tells other servers to reject fakes, with reports on who sends as you (DMARC)
- Optional extras: encrypted delivery to you (MTA-STS and TLS-RPT) and your logo in inboxes (BIMI)
How we work
Step 1: Find the gaps
We review your current settings, licences, mailboxes and every service that sends email as you.
Step 2: Fix in the right order
Changes go in carefully, so genuine email keeps flowing while the risks are closed.
Step 3: Keep watching
We review alerts and reports, and adjust as threats and your business change.
What you walk away with
- A plain-English picture of where your email security stands
- A prioritised list of fixes, matched to the licences you already have
- The changes made, and confirmation that they work
- Ongoing reviews if you want them
What we won't do
- Read the contents of your email
- Change anything without your agreement
- Sell you licences or a platform you don't need
